Advanced Memory Analyzer Capabilities Enable Eclipse Developers to Build Enterprise Applications Within Leading Open Source Development Environment

MUNICH, Germany - October 17, 2007 - As part of its commitment to support the open source developer community, SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced that for the first time it will contribute software development capabilities to the Eclipse community. SAP Memory Analyzer—The Memory Analyzer was developed to analyze productive heap dumps with hundreds of millions of objects. Once the heap dump is parsed, you can re-open it instantly, immediately get the retained size of single objects and quickly approximate the retained size of a set of objects.
